No-one calling Edward Snowden a traitor is acting in good faith. No-one attempting to excuse the NSA's mass surveillance is acting in good faith.
Why would I call Snowden a traitor? He did a service to all of humankind with his revelations. He certainly didn't betray me, though you might feel differently if you work for a letter agency.
I'm not Ed. Already told you my name. I imagine it's pretty comfy, what with not being in the custody of a known state sponsor of torture.
I really hope the people up top running this thing took notice of what I've been posting over the last few breads. Until yesterday, I truly thought the good guys might be in charge here. Contributed, racked up my share of notables - that ends now. I'll still keep tabs, but I'm not helping anymore. Calling someone that to me is a hero, a traitor, is a major dealbreaker. Want my faith back, gonna have to earn it.
Nothing makes him a traitor. He's the model of what all Americans should aspire to be. Americans, by their very definition, uphold and honor the constitution. The NSA doesn't. They're the traitors.
