this. draining swamps is like losing weight. if you rip the shit to shreds and drain it in a week (or even a year) then you can be fucking certain that the power vacuum will be filled. and there is exactly zero reason to expect that whatever fills that vacuum will be better than what got drained. a full and drastic lifestyle change is required in order to lose weight and it takes time…often about the amount of time taken to gain it. so this shit is going to be going on for the forseeable future. even after clinton and all the other names we know so well are dead and gone. restoring righteousness is not a one-off event. shit has to be fought for and then maintained.
