It will lose it's appeal. The mystery of Q is the key to it's allure. If it goes mainstream just so some people can say "told you so" what does it gain? If Q team comes out public and acknowledges ties or team member is POTUS, then Q posts will become too normalized, as if just another tweet from POTUS and team.
To clarify, I agree on the mainstream. But who or what Q is needs to remain somewhat of a mystery.

Same story in my early 40's. But I scuba dive abroad often. Met a femdiver from an island, ended up in my '50s with a beautiful daughter and a very loving loyal asian wife.
