In Georgia and other hot places in the Summer, I've seen windows explode from getting way too cold from interior A/C, and then exploding outward. Happened to me once. Perplexing, but perfectly logical.

 

I imagine it could happen the other way around. Get your car super warm/hot on the inside, and then leave it out in the cold. Rapid cooling, then "bam!".

 

I have often wanted to put a wwg1wga or gigantic Q on the back of my car, but I live/drive around in an area where that might not be the best idea. House? Sure. Car? Not so much.

Forgot to mention, the trick to preventing this, if you think you've gone to extremes with ac/heat is to barely crack at least one window. It prevents this.
