I'm with you. My mom explained all of this to me when I was 4 or 5 and I was fine with it. Told me she didn't want me thinking my parents lie to me… and that it should be about Jesus… and that whole deal. I knew they bought the gifts. I can't see how it changed the "magic" or enjoyment of Christmas for me. Outstanding childhood.
