Sort of agree. I see it a little bit differently I consider our mindset to be that of a protector role, in that we care most about protecting the ones we love from evil. Our sisters and mothers might hate Trump but who cares, let them think the way they do and don't fight with your loved ones. Stay firm in your positions but don't seek fights with people. If they turn to you for your opinion, share it honestly. At Christmas dinner if politics comes up at some point the group will look at you and expect you to weigh in. They may not seem like it but they care what you think. Don't get so focused on being 'right' that you argue and cause your family and friends to dislike you.
Patriots, or sheepdogs, like us are the hard outer shell that keeps the house safe. Inside the house it's all love and hospitality among the wife and family. The wife and family should not be scared of the world outside because they know we are there to protect them. We care just as much about love and hospitality than they do but our scope is wider and we know how fragile it all is.
