I see your point, but gotta say, once I found Santa wasn’t real (in the sense of an actual person) something inside me died and the magic of Christmas was gone. The season was still fun but I grew up and can never, ever get that back.
Ever look in the eyes of a child listening for hooves on the rooftop or Santa’s sleigh Bells? Most adults would give anything to go back in time and feel that again.
