CC at the WH may be to talk over all the NY AG bullshit. I'm guessing CC knows the lay of the land pretty well in that neck of the woods. Talking about COS is probably just a good diversion.

For COS Trump needs someone who knows how Trump himself thinks. Trump doesn't have time for shit that isn't necessary or effective. COS should be able to filter non-essential info at the source.

Best choice, or who best knows how Trump ticks is Ivanka, then Jared, because of Ivanka. Crunch time now and the need is there to cut the fluff time.
