Macron accused of treason by French generals for signing UN Migration Pact

General Antoine Martinez has written the letter signed by ten other generals, an admiral and colonel, and also includes former French Minister of Defense Charles Millon.

They’ve given strong warning that Macron’s signing the U.N. Global Migration Pact strips France of even more sovereignty providing an additional reason for “an already battered people” to “revolt”.

The highly decorated military co-signees assert that the beleaguered Macron is “guilty of a denial of democracy or treason against the nation” for signing the migration pact without putting it to the people.

“The French state is late in coming to realize the impossibility of integrating too many people, in addition to totally different cultures, who have regrouped in the last forty years in areas that no longer submit to the laws of the Republic,” the letter advises, also saying that mass immigration is erasing France’s “civilizational landmarks”.

The pact, which has been protested in the Yellow Vest demonstrations in five countries, was signed by 164 nations, most against the will of the citizens as stated in dozens of country specific petitions, on Monday in Marrakech.

The immensely opposed and disastrous document declares unlimited migration to be treated as a human right and criticism of mass migration to be treated as hate speech.

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff Plans to Probe Trump’s Personal Finances, Obtain Deutsche Bank Records

Incoming House Intel Chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) can’t wait to abuse his subpoena power and plans to investigate Trump’s personal finances by obtaining the President’s Deutsche Bank records.

Schiff believes President Trump’s so-called “financial interests” in Russia are guiding his foreign policy and the answers he is looking for are in Trump’s bank records.

This is the modern day Democrat party – unleash the power of government on political adversaries to launch fishing expeditions in search of a crime.

We saw this before under Joseph Stalin.

Joseph Stalin’s henchman Lavrently Beria once famously said, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”

This is today’s Democrat party.

Give them the Republican and they’ll show you the crime.

They are nothing more than Stalinist thugs.

Via The New Yorker:

As the ranking member of the Intelligence Committee, Schiff has directed a staff of eleven. As the chairman, he will direct twenty-five, some of whom will be devoted to the Russia investigation. “We’ve been deluged with résumés,” Schiff said. It is now clear that during the campaign, when Trump was advocating the removal of sanctions on Russia, he was privately trying to make money in Moscow in a deal that may have required Putin’s help. Schiff wants to know: “Is that why Trump is so pro-Russian? Is his financial interest guiding his foreign policy?” Schiff thinks the answer to those questions may be found in the records of Deutsche Bank, which has been fined hundreds of millions of dollars for laundering money for Russia, and was reportedly the only bank willing to do business with Trump in the nineteen-nineties, when major Wall Street firms declined to loan him money after a series of failed business ventures. “We are going to be looking at the issue of possible money laundering by the Trump Organization, and Deutsche Bank is one obvious place to start,” Schiff added.

President Trump previously threatened House Democrats by stating he will push the Republican-led Senate to launch counter-investigations if Dems abuse their subpoena power.

The Deep State/Democrats are also using federal prosecutors out of New York to harass, intimidate and potentially imprison President Trump.

Manhattan-based federal prosecutors just launched an investigation into Trump’s inauguration spending.

Then-President elect Donald Trump received $107 million in donations to his inaugural committee and now the feds are launching a fishing expedition to see if the funds were misspent.

The incoming New York AG is also gunning for President Trump.

In an interview earlier this week on NBC, incoming New York Attorney General Letitia James promised to investigate the Trump family business, his family members and “anyone in his circle.”

President Trump and Americans must fight back before it’s too late.

ELLIS: Ohio Prepared To Protect The Sanctity Of Life: Now Kasich Must Act

In a great stride to protect the sanctity of human life, the Ohio State Senate passed the "Heartbeat Bill" Wednesday that would ban abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected. The bill had already passed out of the Ohio House by a strong majority, but because the Senate amended the bill, it went back to the House. The House quickly passed the bill in concurrence, and it will now go to Gov. John Kasich—and his veto is likely. Ohio pro-life advocacy groups are hopeful the legislature will have time and be willing to convene for a veto override because of the magnitude of this bill’s importance.

Ohio’s action is one of the strongest pro-life legislative measures in the country because it would require an abdominal ultrasound to detect a heartbeat. When a heartbeat is detected (as early as 5-6 weeks), an abortion at that stage would be illegal. The bill also empowers the State Medical Board of Ohio to suspend physicians’ licenses for medical practitioners who are found to violate the law, even where there is not an associated criminal conviction. Democrat-proffered amendments that sought exemptions were also tabled, reportedly along party lines.

Pro-life advocacy and conservative policy groups, including the James Dobson Family Institute and Live Action, are encouraged by the passage of this solid measure to protect life and support the legislation. This comes as a welcome opportunity for Ohio to lead other states in reclaiming their constitutional authority to determine law on sanctity of life issues.

Aaron Baer, president of Citizens for Community Values in Ohio, said, “Planned Parenthood and abortion activists launched an all-out assault on the Ohio General Assembly. Yet our state leaders ignored the attacks and stood strong for life.”

Although pro-life laws will almost certainly be challenged in court, state legislatures should be emboldened to continue to pass robust sanctity of life measures, especially because of the new conservative majority on the Supreme Court. Even prior to Justice Brett Kavanaugh taking the bench, the Court was already trending back toward a proper model of federalism, with decisions such as Murphy v. NCAA and Janus v. AFSCME. States constitutionally have authority to determine their own laws on sanctity of life if for no other reason than as a simple procedural issue.

Worksite Arrests Up 640 Percent as ICE Cracks Down on Employers of Illegal Immigrants

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has ramped up investigations on employers who used illegal immigrant workers in the fiscal year 2018, which ended in September.

ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) department arrested more than 2,300 people in 2018 related to worksite enforcement, including nearly 800 criminal arrests of employers and over 1,500 administrative arrests of unauthorized workers. That represents an increase in worksite-related arrests of some 640 percent compared to the slightly more than 300 made the year before.

HSI opened over 6,800 worksite investigations in fiscal 2018—about four times more than the year before.

“Reducing illegal employment helps build another layer of border security, and reduces the continuum of crime that illegal labor facilitates, from the human smuggling networks that facilitate illegal border crossings to the associated collateral crimes, like identity theft, document and benefit fraud and worker exploitation,” said HSI Executive Associate Director Derek Benner in a Dec. 11 release.

The boosted enforcement didn’t translate into more indictments and convictions, “but those numbers are also expected to rise due to many ongoing investigations, which can take months to years to fully develop,” the release stated. The 72 indictments and 49 convictions in 2018 represent a little change from the 71 indictments and 55 convictions the year before.

The authorities imposed far less in fines—some $10 million in 2018 compared to nearly $98 million in 2017. That comparison, however, is misleading because the bulk of the 2017 sum came from Asplundh Tree Experts, which paid the government $95 million after a six-year HSI investigation found that the company had knowingly hired and re-hired illegal aliens.

New Problems for Embattled Huawei in France and Germany

FRANKFURT/PARIS—Huawei faces fresh challenges in Europe after Germany’s Deutsche Telekom announced it would review its vendor strategy and Orange said it would not hire the Chinese firm to build its next-generation network in France.

The shift by the national market leaders, both partly state owned, follows Huawei’s exclusion on national security grounds by some U.S. allies, led by Australia, from building their fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks.

U.S. officials have briefed allies that Huawei is ultimately at the beck and call of the Chinese state, while warning that its network equipment may contain “back doors” that could open them up to cyber espionage.

The Deutsche Telekom review comes as U.S. regulators scrutinize the proposed $26 billion takeover by its T-Mobile US unit of Sprint Corp which is controlled by Japan’s Softbank.

Softbank, which is days away from listing its wireless unit in Tokyo, plans to replace its 4G network equipment from Huawei, Nikkei has reported.

“We don’t foresee calling on Huawei for 5G,” Orange CEO Stephane Richard told reporters in Paris. “We are working with our traditional partners—they are Ericsson and Nokia.”

Richard said the security concerns were legitimate: “I absolutely understand that all of our countries, and the French authorities, are preoccupied. We are too.”

Economy Minister Peter Altmaier, in an interview with Reuters on Dec. 14, said “each product, each device must be secure if it is going to be used in Germany.”

Responding, Huawei said it was not a supplier to Orange’s existing 4G network in France and would not feature in the company’s 5G plans in France. Huawei does supply Orange’s networks outside France and expects to be involved in 5G there, it said.

Huawei has come under intense scrutiny as countries including Australia, New Zealand and Japan follow U.S. moves to restrict access to their markets, citing security concerns that its technology could be used by Beijing for spying.

In an April report, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a Congressional group, pointed to extensive ties between Huawei and the Chinese Communist Party. Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei was a former director of telecoms research in the Chinese military’s General Staff Department.

Ren’s daughter, Meng Wanzhou, was arrested in Vancouver, Canada, on Dec. 1 at the request of U.S. law enforcement. She is accused of engaging in activities to skirt U.S. sanctions on Iran, and faces extradition to the United States.

UK Lawmakers Urge ‘Extreme Caution’ As Huawei Invests in Top British Universities

The controversial Chinese company is embedded in the UK's communications networks

LONDON—British lawmakers are urging universities to be very cautious about accepting money from Huawei, amid increasing international scrutiny on the Chinese communications company.

World-renowned universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester, and York have accepted funds from Huawei totaling over $7.5 million as the company seeks to fund research and recruit students.

Annual trips to China in association with the British Council are funded by Huawei, as well as research projects into the latest cell phone and audio technology.

Examples include a 5G Innovation Center at the University of Surrey, to which Huawei has promised $6.3 million, as well as 4G research at the University of York, and a computer lab at Cambridge University, which has so far cost over $1 million.

But, following the detention in Canada of the company’s CFO, Meng Wanzhou, British lawmakers have been speaking out about their concerns on the company’s level of investment in British academia.
