120 km/hr winds in Southern Alberta (Canada)

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

Once again strong winds are expected to develop along the foothills overnight and into Saturday morning. Wind gusts of 100 to 120 km/h are possible before the winds weaken early Saturday afternoon.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
