Anyone notice this little timeline problem?

Strzok's Flynn questioning of Flynn was on July 24th, 2017

FBI procedure is for 302 witness interview forms to be filled out within (5) days.

But Comey was fired in May 9th, 2017.

Last I checked, May came before July.

Mr. Gowdy. Who interviewed General Flynn, which FBI agents?

Mr. Comey. My recollection is two agents, one of whom was Pete Strzok and the other of whom is a career line agent, not

a supervisor.

Mr. Gowdy. Did either of those agents, or both, ever tell you that they did not adduce an intent to deceive from their interview with General Flynn?

Mr. Comey. No.

Mr. Gowdy. Have you ever testified differently?

Mr. Comey. No.

Mr. Gowdy. Do you recall being asked that question in aHPSCI hearing?

Mr. Comey. I was asked. No. I recall – I don't remember what question I recall saying the agents observed no indciation of deception, physical manifestations, shiftiness, that sort of thing.

Mr. Gowdy. Who would you have gotten that from if you were not present for the interview?

Mr. Comey. From someone at the FBI, who either spoke to – I don't think I spoke to the interviewing agents but got the report from the interviewing agents.

Mr. Gowdy. All right. So you would have, what, read the 302 or had a conversation with someone who read the 302?

Mr. Comey. I don't remember for sure. I think I may have done both, that is, read the 302 and then spoke to people who had spoken to the investigators themselves directly. It's possible I just don't remember that.

Because the assumption of 302's has been completely off. Sally Yates worked with Pence (Head of transition team - lied about Flynn, enabling Yates/Strozk to enter the picture, no Pence none of this happens).

The assumption was the new Aug22 302 was sort of a continuation from the first one created The idea was that the 302's were edited/changed by Strzock after the fact.

We just found out that this is not the case. The August 22nd 302 (7 months after the first Flynn interview) is a NEW 302 created by the FBI who conducted an interview of Strzok (or maybe the other agent, doubtful) regarding his questioning/handling of Flynn's case.

All of the focus was on Strzok. Comey's recent testimony and the new information brought this to the surface.

Silly, RR isn't going anywhere, and RR is in charge of the Mueller investigation. Wasn't this made clear when Sessions immediately recused so he would retain control of his investigation?

Do you have any idea how long it would take to replace RR and get someone new up to speed? Just because he has the authority doesn't mean that it was suddenly handed off entirely to him.
