Correct. IRS will have to issue refunds.

But they will wait to see if it is appealed, and what those decisions are (if any). That will take some time.

In the meantime, it is unconstitutional and should not be paid.

If it is overturned on appeal, then SCOTUS will overturn that and it will be unconstitutional.

If it is affirmed on appeal, SCOTUS will not hear the case and that will be that.

Either way, it is dead. But it will take some more time before IRS issues refunds.

But I wouldn't pay anymore, and if they send a letter, refer to that ruling as justification for not paying, and demand a refund of any amounts already paid.

Would not be surprised if Comey was smart enough (or experienced enough) to avoid doing the dirty work himself and leaving McCabe to hang out to dry.

Comey knows, but McCabe probably did the deed.

That SC ruling is no longer valid. It was based entirely on the individual mandate, which is no longer part of the law.

That is WHY this judge struck it down. SCOTUS will NOT overturn this decision, regardless what the appeals court does.

IRS will have to issue refunds, but they will wait for the appeals to finish.

This decision will ultimately stand (because it is a completely different issue than what the bogus SCOTUS ruling was before).

Eventually, IRS will issue refunds.

Health insurance should be no more expensive than any other insurance. It is due to government involvement that it is so expensive.

If POTUS can get Congress to pass "common sense stuff" like removing the prohibition of selling insurance across state lines, and having separate policies for catastrophic and regular, then health insurance can get cheap again. Also, need to get Medicare under control and somewhat privatized to bring down costs.

When health insurance was originally invented, about 100 years ago, it was NOT to pay for medical care. It was to pay for lost income because medical care was so cheap that everybody could just pay out of pocket, but they couldn't afford the lost income.

Watch TV shows from the 1960's. It was common for doctors to make HOUSE CALLS for God's sake. Big Pharma and Medicare have driven up the costs.

Trump knows this. Congress will be the only thing to block reasonable health care costs.

It will go to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

If they affirm the lower court, SCOTUS will not hear the case.

If they overturn the lower court, SCOTUS will overturn them and affirm this decision.

Bet on it.

Don't know for sure, but someone was saying it was on a different floor from the Flynn courtroom.

Might have had to do with Roger Stone case, where is buddy (Miller?) does not want to testify/produce documents.

>> Sally Yates worked with Pence (Head of transition team - lied about Flynn, enabling Yates/Strozk to enter the picture, no Pence none of this happens).

This is new to me. You saying Pence lied about what Flynn told him? If so, was it to set up DOJ/FBI, or because Pence is bad guy?

Getting all this sorted out is really easy.

There will always be poor people who cannot afford health care. Those people can go to free clinics where doctors and nurses volunteer a few hours per month or so. This used to exist in every city.

Everyone else can afford catastrophic health insurance, similar to umbrella liability policies, which are about $100 per year. Most people would probably pay less than their cable bill for such a policy.

If they want more bells and whistles than that, open it up to the free market and all sorts of options would be available.

Get the government out of Medicare and all their mandates. Again, poor people (including old folk) can either afford cheap policies or go to free clinics.

Right now, there are cash only places with regular health care and charging $50/mo. Right now, there is a clinic in Oklahoma doing surgeries for 80% less than what is usually charged – and they are making a profit (not a fee clinic thing).

Then, get Big Pharma to spread what they charge around the world (US prices are 10-100 times higher than anywhere else), and it will be solved. Could be done before Trump's 2nd term is up.

Priebus is joining Navy Reserve, not Navy.

He's a lawyer.

He could be a white hat to act as a liason so they have someone on the "inside" feeding info back and forth.

Being new, he will be in "training" for some time, and that could be cover.
