No homo slide, but did you watch the 11.22.1963 mini series with James Franco? S.King book on JFK assassination. Anyhow, the premise is this guy has a closet with a portal to a specific 1963 day in the past. He wants to save JFK. If he changes the future poorly, he can go back in the closet and "reset" the timeline and try again.
