Yeah according to the OIG report released a couple days ago a lot of them recovered in the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) databases. Basically, from the way I read it, the FBI has their own communications capture system, but then above that is ESOC, which captures on another level. It is a security system built by Samsung. While the FBI communications capture system failed to get some of the texts, the enterprise system was able to get them. Seems like someone forgot about the enterprise databases when they were erasing messages.
