Actually, Congress needs to be involved in this on a different level. They need to change the law to break up the 'territoriality' here, so that many other health insurance companies can enter the market and freely compete across state borders and offer more affordable insurance options to the public.
The hurdles to enter this industry are ridiculous. And the relatively few companies that are in it and offering insurance options are offering options that most people cannot afford.
Something needs to change. Hopefully, this is the beginning of that.
