1. The Afghan War humiliated the USSR. The US used the Mujahideen to oppose the Soviets. What could make Putin and ex-Soviets more proud than luring the US into Afghanistan, and using Islamic sects against us?

1. Assuming Saudi Arabia was working with bad actors in the US prior to 9/11, what could make Russia happier than flipping Saudi Arabians, and using them to attack the US? It would send the cabal into a rage, and drive a wedge between the US and Saudi Arabia, making it easier for Russia to influence OPEC and the ME.

1. The C_A used economic warfare to dissolve the Soviet Union and put Russia under cabal oligarchy. Vlad wanted to send a message to the C_A by hitting a symbol of American financial prowess, especially after they opposed his election.

Conclusion: Russia benefitted geopolitically from 9/11. WTC attack also destabilized the world. Vlad is a loose cannon. The cabal wants to get Russia under control, and put Vlad on a leash. The cabal has conceded a great deal to Russia and has worked to woo Russia's network of bad actors. Vlad prefers to play games and double-cross.
