Hypothetical.

At the White House (first interview)

Agent: "General what did you talk to the ambassador about?"

Flynn: "Apples and Oranges. I'm sure you guys have the surveillance on the call."

Agent: "Ok"

=

Second Interview.

Agent: "General, All you discussed with the Ambassador was Apples and Oranges..correct"

(Reinforcement of incorrect recollection)

Flynn: "Correct"

===

Meeting with Pence.

Pence: General what did you discuss with the Ambassador?

Flynn: "Apples and Oranges" (From reinforced recollection)

Incorrectly recalling a conversation and having the incorrect information reinforced was a interrogation

tactic used by the FBI to entrap Michael Flynn and dupe him into lying to Pence.

Obviously if Flynn had the transcript he would have properly recalled the conversation.
