apples and oranges car vs. health insurance. this guy's probably never shopped for and purchased either or he'd know that.
taxpayers don't subsidize car insurance for poor people…only other insured drivers do. that's why i buy uninsured/underinsured coverage because even though the 'law' says drivers must carry insurance, many don't…especially illegals who don't even have licenses and if they hit me, then i need protection. but i should not have to pay for someone else's poor health because that does not affect me…or it shouldn't, anyway…not even through rates i pay for health insurance.
