from what I read, PROMIS was basically a database cross-checking software. It allowed the operator to cross check many different databases for info on the same person based on an identifier that was common for all databases, i.e. ID number, or drivers license number.
imo ebot is much more tha we know.
I believe it to be a post sniffer. a sort of a controlling bot for the other bots deployed here.
i'll explain:
They probably run a multi-threaded application that deploys bot threads, they have the regular chatbots: muhjew spambot, supportbots, triggerbots, etc.
It also has a thread that sniffs the posts in the bread and raises a flag on the ones that are necessary for chatbot "behavior". This thread is our pal EBOT. It only appears to do random crap but in fact it raises flags on the valuable posts by linking to them, while at the same time spamming useless junk to spam breads and blend in in the noise ("filter ebot").
Another theory I have is that ebot also passes coded messages, via the images and the text. It allows a human user to enter scripts in real time.
APP was created in the 80s but used all throughout the 80s and 90s while being constantly updated by the best tech brains from the ranks of the clowns. That's how software evolve.
So the "fake and gay" made a boomerang style u-turn right back at you.
