Kryptos is a sculpture on the grounds of the CIA in Langley, Virginia.

Since its dedication on November 3 1990, there has been much speculation about the meaning of the four encrypted messages it bears. The first three have been solved, while the fourth message remains as one of the most famous unsolved codes in the world.

Excerpts from decoded sections:

<BETWEEN SUBTLE SHADING AND THE ABSENCE OF LIGHT LIES THE NUANCE OF IQLUSION

(Note the Q in the last word above)

<IT WAS TOTALLY INVISIBLE HOWS THAT POSSIBLE ? THEY USED THE EARTHS MAGNETIC FIELD

<THE INFORMATION WAS GATHERED AND TRANSMITTED UNDERGRUUND

<CAN YOU SEE ANYTHING Q

A clue from the sculpture's creator about solving the last section: "There's a very interesting backstory to the Berlin Clock" aka the Set Theory Clock.

On some websites about Kryptos I see keywords that remind me of Q topics: Light, Ra, Door, Tombs, russian letters ("Learn Russian"), Keystone, Q Light Rays, Q-Signals, Shadow, Deceit, Pyramid, Royalty, Darkness, Dig, etc.

I'm sure Kryptos has been brought up here before, but did anyone make progress with it? Does it deserve its own thread for digging? Or is it likely a rabbit hole that leads nowhere?

If Q team is going to dismantle the C_A, will we also see them reveal the solution to one of the most famous unsolved codes in the world, located at the C_A?

>[C]los[I]ng [A]ct:

>Dismantled.

>Operations → [N]o [S]uch [A]gency

Also, the NSA apparently has a rivalry with the C_A about solving the Kryptos sculpture, and the NSA has beaten them at it so far:

In NSA documents about Kryptos, previously confidential until 2014, the docs are marked Related to FVEY
