this is probably something we should explore as a means of combat. are there other pieces of their symbolism that we can ruin with small tweaks?
"ruin" could be done several ways. alter the symbol to something else. change it enough that it is neutral. whether or not someone here believes in the spiritual side of the contest, it is quite plain that they believe strongly. finding ways of changing the symbols they hold so dear would at least have a great effect on their confidence.
