I'm beginning to think the arrest of of Meng Wananzhou, Huawei CFO is much more internationally coordinated than the media would lead us to believe. The media says she is arrested because this is a Trump vs. China thing. To me this looks like a FVEY vs. China thing.
For instance FVEY met in July to discusss Huawei's threat to their respective countries. Australia and U.S. have had Huawei bans in place with the UK signing on board publicly, December 5th, saying that Huawei will not have access to their core network. And oh yeah, the same day they announced that, December 5th, was the day the Huawei CFO was arrested in Canada. Trump and the U.S. may be the architects, but on paper this seems like a multinational movement against the Chinese.
