Yes, I have realized that it is not black and white.

Even if something is comped now, it may have been started with good intentions, and certain people may still carry those intentions with them.

I keep an open mind to all of it.

Esp. with regard to Mithra and the idea of Christianity that was spreading in the same region at the time. I could easily see how there would be some interesting and not quite to straightforward history there.

Going deeper, seems to be simply institutions that were anti-(((christianity))).

Were comped over time, due to their influence.

Perhaps some kept them alive in their non-comped state underground.

The idea of secret societies in general…
