The story so far is the Character Anons have come upon an upturned horse cart on the King's Highway. One of the Anon's discovered a strange cube-like object with gears and gems in the strewn about cargo of clothes and rags.
The Elven Mage/Fighter is an alcoholic and impetuously fires a magic missile from his drunken stupor, and the cube like object flies from the exploring Anons hands.

You here the groans coming from the brown robed figure on the ground, the other brown robed figure is dead…
You roll the person over and he lies in your arms gasping his final breaths of life.
"I am an Acolyte of Primus. The ONE!"
He coughs and blood comes out of his mouth and nose.
