Method acting IS a technique actors use to get into their roles.
Some like it, some don't.
And some of them - who sometimes have psychological problems - or have a trauma from childhood, can get problems when doing it.
But when mentally healthy grown-ups doing that, who are actually knowing what they are doing, there is nothing wring about it.
