Something weird is happening around my house right now. My 'oh so asleep' left daughter in law, who thinks I am crazy, walked in a bit ago and said she felt something was going on right now. That is was not a bad thing but something was different outside. For her to say this is amazing. So we looked outside. I have crows that keep other small birds away but the scrup jays. What we saw was dozens of small birds, many being finches, flying all over my yard and into the neighbors and back again. I could hear a crow in the background but not that challenging crow to get them out of my yard. These finches almost flew into our heads flying past so fast. They are chattering and singing to one another like they're happy. I have not seen or had these birds in my yard for several years and yet here they are.
Any ideas?
