You guise have put together a lot on Ben Rhodes already and his many weirdnesses and political connections during the previous breads. Not sure if there is any research on this, but it seems reasonable to suspect he's got bloodline ties to all the Cecil Rhodes/Rothchilds, Rhodes Scholars, illuminati/masonic monkey business. You wouldn't believe all the spoopiness.
Ben Rhodes went to school at Rice University in Houston. (He later got his MA in Creative Writing at NYC). The School mascot for Rice is Sammy the OWL.
Rice University was founded William March Rice, who belonged to the secret society known as the Oddfellows. He stipulated the funding and charter for the school be used after his death. The school was soon chartered after Rice was murdered in New York.
The University features's Baker College (named after it's deep ties with the James A Baker family). "Baker's colors are traditionally red, silver, and black, and the college associates itself with the devil and hell in its Beer Bike themes and college cheers, with the most popular cheer being "Baker, hell yeah!".[Wiki]

The Baker 13 is a tradition in which students run around campus wearing nothing but shoes and shaving cream. (Plenty more strangeness to find about that school if you're interested)….
Ben Rhodes' brother, David Rhodes (President of CBS News) also went to Rice University…

And here's another fun fact: Ben Rhodes' father, Jim Rhodes, also went to Rice University. He is now an attorney in New York. On his Linked-in profile he mentions that while he was at Rice, he founded, with his family members, the "Rhodes Family Travel Abroad Scholarship.." see below..
Co-inkey-dink? Related to Rhodes Scholarships?
I haven't been able to find anything definitive relating Ben Rhodes with the Bloodline families, but it seems like a good bet.
