which current senator is the son of a former senator?
>>4357721, >>4357731 CONgress and dual citizenship is on the books, It is not legal and is not followed.
This explains the deterioration of the relationship between my indirectly politically connected best-friend and I. He's staunchly anti-trump with no real reason besides the usual NPC drivel, but one thing he is quite proud of is his dual citizenship (NZ).
I suppose a few folks will be upset by a decision to end dual citizenship for senators, but I imagine a lot more would be upset if it affected civilians.
Personally I don't care, I see citizenship as being at it's best when it's all or nothing; America is always first.
I imagine quite a few NZ'ers were also making cash with the unlogged access they had going through five eyes
I should elaborate on the last part - I wonder if this is treason or subversion on the part of these NZers, and dual citizens in senate or congress.
I hope you don't approach your friendships that way in real life.
Life is complex. Read the bible, if you don't understand it - it will at least give you some advice for living and maintaining meaningful friendships in spite of earthly differences.
