The Bible has alot of great truth to it, has wonderful allegory, tells part of the story of a man who realized his divine nature and became The Christ, andhas beautiful psalms. It however is not “God’s Word.” It was put together after many church and lateran councils, the first being headed by a Roman Emperor. Seek God as Jesus described, go to you room, make sure you are alone, no magic words, and just pray. Connect with your deepest identity, the one that all sentience shares, and you will meet God.
