The authorities in the face of this evil, have no power. The authorities were assimilated into this evil.

Bannon had no-one to ask for help.

He tried to run, but the evil found his Dirty Laundry hidden in the backseat.

Now there was nowhere left to run, and what Bannon had seen buried beneath the church turned out to be as dangerous as the sun. His eyes were burnt out of his head.
