Are we just to assume these girls have been worn down while no one came to find them or talk them out of hanging around places like wherever Epstein would hang out to the point they would no longer resist being literal slaves? Personally, I can't imagine NOT resisting fervently when being told "now go have sex with these guys."

This is confusing the hell out of me. Can anyone explain? Maybe my autism is a little heightened today or something… I'm just having trouble seeing most of these women as victims, especially like the one girl who was dropped off at Epstein's place by her parents who weren't allowed in, who was "made" to do sexual favors for men at fifteen, and for whatever reason, returned to the house. Why would she continue to voluntarily go back? Were her parents in on it? If so, why weren't they allowed in the house? Why was that detail important to include in the story?

Wouldn't it make much more sense to leave out information about her parents so they weren't brought in to the light as having anything to do with it? Wouldn't it make more sense to avoid revealing that her parents brought her to his house? Assuming her parents were involved to some degree, this specific detail just hardly makes sense.

It appears the most relevant detail that would have helped to have been pointed out to me in the beginning was that the parents had already done most of the heavy lifting to split these youngsters.
