Sandy Hook was contaminated with asbestos. It was closed several years before the incident. No children were allowed in there ever. There is a video where these young guys go back there to interview people a year later, and then one goes to try to reach the building, and his video shows an asbestos warning sign on the outside doors. There's also someone who found the web site traffic for the school and it stopped abruptly when the school was closed years earlier.
