I think there is a lot more going on in space than we realize by far. On top of the follow up announcement of the Space Force today, Japan also added:
"“Rapid expansion of new areas, such as space, cyber and electromagnetic waves, is fundamentally changing the ideal state of national security, which had placed importance on dealing with physical areas such as land, sea and air,” it stated."
"Japan needs to quickly build a new defense capability that promotes the integration of conventional ground, sea and air defenses with new areas of space and cyber, according to the revised guideline."

At the same (literally same day), articles come out about China looking to move assets into Greenland (Thule AFB region) and their desire to become an Arctic power:

On the same day Russia announces their plans to stay long term in Venezuela and open a base there.
Again, I think there is a lot more going on in space than we even come close to knowing as I feel those two "impacts" from several months back in Michigan and Ohio that we all "WTF" over were shot down satellite weapons.
Just think the past week alone and all these global moves by major power. On top of that the US has a launch suspiciously get cut mid launch due to issues from Vandenberg, multiple global observatories get major military/federal attention and the list goes on.
It just feels like we are witnessing the board being set right now all across the globe and I think we would be fools not to look deeper into all these recent moves, by many countries. It just appears like the threat of conflict is massive at moment given all these assets being moved into different regions. Not to mention the types of war games we are seeing and so on. It just feels like conflict is inevitable and about to break out given all these major moves.
