I'm from Poland. Not only did i learn extensively on the subject, i learned first hand from my grandparents and friends. I lived in poland during communist years and was forced to learn Russian in school. I then came to the USA, where the history class took about a week to zoom through WWll. The lesson started with a paragraph of what happened before united states joined the party and a week of what happened when they were there.
