Reading through part two of the Comey interview.

Here are some excerpts from his interaction with Gowdy that show how hard it is to get a straight answer from the guy.

Gowdy asks Comey about a conversation he had with Reince Priebus. Priebus began by asking Comey is the conversation private. It is clear because they were the only two people in the room this question meant, "this conversation will stay between us right?"

But Comey tries to say he thought, Priebus was asking if they were the only two in the room. Gowdy is like, a look around the room would indicate to Priebus that they were the only two in it, so wouldn't private mean, "this is convo that you won't share with anyone." Comey says, "you know I don't want to speak to what he was thinking."

What a fucking slimeball.

Another gem I liked is when Gowdy asks Comey if the President has the power to end an investigation. Comey is all like, "Gee shucks, I don't know the law that well to answer such a question." Gowdy is like, "What the fuck motherfucker, how can you say you don't know the law when you've been a lawyer the majority of your life?"

Comey is total trash.

Comey and Clapper went to Trump Tower to try and Punk the President-elect with the Steele dossier

On January 6th 2017, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, and Rodgers went up to Trump tower to brief the incoming president. The first part of the meeting happened with the five of them, and the second part of the meeting was just Comey and Trump.

Clapper before hand, per Comey's testimony, told Comey when it is just him and Trump alone he should bring up the Steele dossier to the president-elect, focusing only on the prostitutes and golden showers. Once again, this was Clapper's idea. Or atleast that's how Comey paints the picture. And when you really think about it, Clapper and Comey knew the whole thing was bullshit, but they didn't tell Trump that. They told him the media was coming for him.

Per Comey's testimony, Comey told Trump people like CNN had the story and it could be a problem for Trump. Sounds like a threat to me. Like, "Hey just so you know, I got rumors of prostitutes peeing on you in a fancy smancy Gubbment Dossier that CNN is itching to run on the news."

Representative Jim Jordan suggested to Comey, bringing up the dossier in this kind of fashion could be interpreted as a threat by the president-elect.

Comey agreed saying, "I was very concerned that he might interpret it as an effort to pull a J. Edgar Hoover on him."
