Chris Matthews: Trump Could Soon Resign as Don Jr. and Ivanka Could be ‘next dominoes to fall’

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews believes that it’s very possible that President Trump could be left with no other option but to resign in the “coming weeks” as Robert Mueller’s probe gets closer and closer to Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump.

During his “Let Me Finish” segment on Hardball with Chris Matthews last night, Matthews explain how he believes the Mueller investigation may end.

“Let me finish tonight with how the Mueller investigation could end,” Matthews said. “Given the toughness Bob Mueller has shown, it looks like he would have no hesitation indicting anyone he finds guilty in his path.”

Matthews then went on to explain how Mueller isn’t about going easy on anyone unless they are willing to help him in his investigation of others who are higher up on the food chain, such as President Trump. Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, however, have little to give Mueller in terms of evidence to help him in his investigation of their father, unless, of course, they are willing to testify against him. The chances of that, however, are slim to none.
