“Victims of the robberies and the July 22 rape all identified Mr. Ader from those photographs, authorities said, and he was arrested last Tuesday night at his home in Bernardsville. Other than the photo identities, the local police have refused to discuss other evidence they have.
In Monday's lineup, only a teen‐age boy who had been robbed robbed in his home, positively picked out Mr. Ader.
Mr. Ader contends that he was out with two friends at the time of the robberies, and the alibi is said to have been substantiated.”
