This turned out to be the 1 out 50 episodes that I decided was "worth listening to again".

Am not a biblefag, am a wordfag.
When I read "yield", my automatic interpretation was "yeah - it gives power - ok". ("Keystone" also makes me think "flying buttress". And that's just silly.)
Decided to chill while folks did their connotation thang.
… As in, both absorb and redistribute the tension/weight of a structure to stabilize the whole.
Thus giving power to each stone in a structure. :)
