Preet Bharara used to be in that position, and the SDNY AG's office opened an investigation into the CF, but Loretta Lynch blocked it.

Rudy Giuliani was also the SDNY AG at one time.

Most likely Preet was helping block or muddle the investigation into the CF, Weiner Laptop, and the Child Trafficking referred to in the IG report.
