I think you sum up the general bread actions quite well.

We are at war. In war there are casualties and losses.

This can mean good research doesn't make Notables and that we need to learn to identify good Bakers and post our really important works during their baking sessions.

We must also consider 'The Plan' may include as a purpose that specific research doesn't make it into the Notables, in order to control the revelatory process, to teach others to dig for the good stuff, and so forth.

As to the fruits of a post:

We can not enforce upon the hearts of others goodness, even God will not.

But we can:

Define Righteousness.

Define Good.

Define Wickedness.

Define Evil.

And with that understanding, Live.
