The two best choices for a (relatively) unbiased Bible are (and nobody is going to like these recommendations) the >old< version of the New World Translation (black cover – avoid the gray cover + subsequent) and the Catholic New International translation (not the Doue-Rheims). This was the conclusion of the author of "Truth in Translation" … a Bible scholar with all the proper professional credentials. Ignore any Bible which is not a full-on translation but only a version. Many of them are founded on the KJV and it is not a good choice. It's the first Bible I read and I still have a copy but if you know it's history, you'll agree that it's not reliable at all.

Because I asked him to.

I'd rather have the concrete walls. But if vertical bollards are preferred by CBP (they wanted to be able to see through them), then so be it. As long as the barrier is not easily breached, I'm fine.

It's not a $21 trillion dollar economy … the $21 trillion figure is how deeply in debt we are. We keep borrowing money from people who create it out of thin air and then charge us interest on it.
