Christmas comet? 46:/Wirtanen is quite interesting. It's green color comes from cyanogen, a nasty chemical that reacts to form cyanide, acetylene, and many other toxic and soluble compounds. Nothing good about it. Wormwood? It would certainly poison surface water.

That was closest approach, but I don't know (nor can find) when we'll pass through the comet's "train" or "tail". We do know it's outgassing cyanogen. Maybe nothing, maybe wake up dead tomorrow. We won't know until it happens (or not).
