Am frequently overcome w/feels over these moments, tbh. Not only realizing we're not bereft of competent leadership, but that they're bad ass and have wicked senses of humor too.
I wish everyone could see it. The ones that don't are gonna have to look back when it's all over and have it explained to 'em, spectators. Meanwhile we'll have been there for every step of this glorious unfolding, participating. Maybe you have to have put your time in with the game on your own, plugging away and not giving up no matter how shitty it got, to be able to see what's happening now. Reward for all those years grinding our gears against the machine, marginalized and mocked for seeing the emperor had no clothes. When everyone does finally see tho? The look on the emperor's face will be priceless.
