As part of a package of laws to protect Australia against covert foreign political interference, a law banning foreign political donations will come into force from Jan. 1, 2019, the office of Senator and Finance Minister Mathias Cormann has confirmed.

The new law was passed by Parliament on Nov. 27 and signed by Governor-General Peter Cosgrove on Dec. 13.

The Electoral Funding and Disclosure Reform Bill was first introduced to the Senate in December 2017 after former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced the government was acting on concerns about external interference in Australian politics, citing media reports about interference from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Section 44 of the Constitution sets out restrictions on who can be a candidate for Federal parliament. In full it reads:

1. Any person who -

(i.) Is under any acknowledgement of allegiance, obedience, or adherence to a foreign power, or is a subject or a citizen or entitled to the rights or privileges of a subject or citizen of a foreign power.

No worries anon. You might be on the right path there, there are many politicians who have and many more who dont have it but can obtain israeli citizenship/passport through their family ties or business interests.

I actually use to be all for dual/multiple passports (look up 6 flags theory) until I i dug a little deeper and then recently Q research came along. Not for it now.

John Howard was the PM at the time and im certain he started the Australian Chapter of The Asia Society - which was when the Chinese/Aus relationship especially amogst the political class started to grow closer - and set the stage for the great mining boom of the 2000's. He started this society sometime in the 90s…1997 i think.

Both parties were full of commie sympathisers but most people wouldnt know this especially of Howard since he was seen as a hawkish protectionist and anti multicultralism.

Its been fucked from the start….its had a big effect on our 'identity' and coupled with the unresolved and ongoing destruction of the Native Aborigines, it has really left us in a kid of limbo. At the people level i think we get along for the most part because we all share tge same principles and values but it does not reflect in the political landscape and so there is this divide which these fuckers have maintained and exploited to our detriment. This is really the NWO's wet dream - a perfectly divided but compliant society with a ruling class totally removed from the will and wishes of the people.
