The only thing odd is that is a highly populated area to be screwing around in. There are other designated areas, on and off shore, used for training. The pattern is covering the general area of Langley AF base, Langley NASA, Fort Useless, the Farm, and a nuclear plant.
Works here. When it's happened to me, a browser/tab restart fixes it.
