Senator Rand Paul is blocking a resolution from the perpetually war-hungry Senator Lindsey Graham which condemns President Donald Trump’s decision to pull our troops out of Syria and get them home for Christmas.

Graham has been relentlessly attacking the president since he made his Syria announcement.

The resolution would not stop or impede President Trump from bringing our soldiers home, but it expresses “the sense of the Senate that the United States should continue its limited military activities within Syria and that ending such activities at this time would embolden ISIS, Bashar al-Assad, Iran, and Russia.”

Senate Paul’s office is loudly rejecting “the bipartisan war caucus” and standing with the president.

“Senator Graham is mad he has one less war to be involved in. But he shouldn’t be. This is what President Trump ran on, and Senator Paul and President Trump have discussed this often — how to get our troops home,” Senator Paul’s Chief Strategist Doug Stafford told The Gateway Pundit.

Stafford continued on to say, “no one has been more wrong more often on foreign policy than Senator Graham. We finally have a president who will stand up to him and the bipartisan war caucus.”

A Florida-based triple amputee veteran has created a GoFundMe push to fund President Trump’s border wall through donations from the public.

Brian Kolfage, who launched the GoFundMe, has also been an active free speech advocate who has spoken against censorship on digital media platforms.

Kolfage promises that he will make sure the United States government will be legally required to spend the donations on the wall and only the wall.

The GoFundMe page passed $1 million in donations on Wednesday afternoon.

Faced with a rather provocative question from the WSJ Moscow Bureau Chief, Ann Maria Simmons, Putin said that “when it comes to ruling the world we know very well where the headquarters [of those], who are trying to do exactly that,” is located. “And it’s not in Moscow,” the president added, speaking at an annual Q&A session in Moscow.

Although the Russian leader has never openly accused Washington of having some global ambitions, he still said that the ongoing contest of influence in the international arena is linked to “the US leading role in the world economy” and its enormous defense spending amounting to “more than $ 700 billion,” which Washington apparently seeks to translate into some political power.

Russia’s defense spending amounts to just $46 billion, the president said, noting that the total population of the NATO countries accounts for some 600 million people while Russia has just about 140 million.

“Do you really believe that it is our goal to rule the world?” Putin asked rhetorically.

All the speculation about Russia’s supposed aspirations for the world dominance are nothing but a “mentality imposed by some to achieve internal goals,” the president said.

School Cops Indicted After Leaked Video Showing Them Savagely Beating 14-Year-Old Child

After two school cops were seen on video savagely beating a not violent child, the department kept it secret until someone leaked the video.

Brusly, LA — Video footage that was leaked last month by an insider at a Louisiana middle school of a resource officer slamming a student to the ground and then pummeling him has led to the indictment of two Louisiana cops.

Last week, a West Baton Rouge grand jury indicted the two Brusly officers for their use of excessive force on the 14-year-old boy.

Former Brusly Police Department officer Anthony “Kip” Dupre was charged with malfeasance in office and former officer Dan Cipriano with a count of simple battery. The parents of the boy say the charges do not go far enough.

“They feel the DA’s office did an adequate job by bringing it quickly to the people, but feel it was a slap on the wrist based on the tape and what they saw done to their grandson,” the family’s attorney Kwame Asante said Friday. “This young man will still be dealing with this for a long time.”

After the video was leaked, both officers promptly resigned.

According to the report, the incident happened on October 5th and never made the news until the footage was sent by an anonymous source to WAFB. Had the footage not been leaked, these officers would have never been exposed.

The case came to light in November, after video footage leaked to the media showed what appeared to be Dupre beating a student in a school office Oct. 5.

Full view of the scuffle between Dupre and the student is blocked by a desk in the Brusly Middle School office, but Dupre can clearly be seen wrestling the student and slamming him to the ground twice.

There is no audio in the video, but it appears in at least some of the encounter, Dupre rapidly thrusts his arm and shoulder up and down toward the youth, as if punching him, while school staff nervously look on.

Congressman calls for Zuckerberg to step down as Facebook CEO amid new privacy breach allegations

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg should “log out” over an “unprecedented level of negligence,” a US congressman said after a new report revealed how the company allowed cherry-picked firms unhindered access to user data.

Rep. Bobby L. Rush (D-Ill) has called on Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of the scandal-ridden social-network company, to resign after the New York Times exposed deals with more than 150 firms, including Netflix, Amazon and Spotify, that allowed them to bypass users’ privacy settings.

Sony, Microsoft and Amazon were allowed to view users’ contacts through their friends. Spotify, Netflix and Royal Bank of Canada, for instance, were able to “read,” “write” and “delete” users’ massagers, the Times reported on Tuesday.

“Facebook is one of the world’s most innovative companies. It is highly implausible its leadership repeatedly fail to understand their own policies of consent and the ways in which their product has been – and continues to be – manipulated and weaponized,” Rush said in a statement.

The lawmaker, who sits on the House Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, said that Zuckerberg’s “own greed and desire for tech dominance outweighed his responsibility” to the users.

“It is time for new leadership at Facebook and it is time for him to log out,” Rush tweeted, calling on the tech giant’s board of directors to oust Zuckerberg.

DHS to Return Illegal Aliens to Mexico in Effort to End ‘Catch and Release’

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will return illegal border crossers arriving from Mexico on the southern border to Mexico while they await their U.S. immigration hearings in an effort to end “Catch and Release.”

In an announcement Thursday, DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said her agency would immediately invoke Section 235(b)(2)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. That will allow federal immigration officials to return illegal border crossers arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border back to Mexico while they await their immigration hearings in the U.S.

“Aliens trying to game the system to get into our country illegally will no longer be able to disappear into the United States, where many skip their court dates,” Nielsen said. “Instead, they will wait for an immigration court decision while they are in Mexico. ‘Catch and release’ will be replaced with ‘catch and return.’ In doing so, we will reduce illegal migration by removing one of the key incentives that encourages people from taking the dangerous journey to the United States in the first place.”

The new policy means that illegal aliens at the southern border claiming asylum will be processed by DHS and given a “Notice to Appear” for their immigration hearing. After, they will be returned to Mexico, which DHS officials say has agreed to provide border crossers with “humanitarian visas, work authorization, and other protections” as they await their hearings.

In the process, border crossers will have access to attorneys and to the U.S. only for their hearings. Only until an immigration judge clears border crossers of having credible asylum cases will they be allowed into the U.S.

For months, immigration experts requested DHS to implement the policy change which seeks to end the practice of border crossers being released into the interior of the U.S. where the vast majority never arrive in immigration court hearings and instead live throughout the country as illegal aliens.

As early as April, immigration experts like Jessica Vaughan told Breitbart News that DHS should implement such a policy in order to stop mass illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We can also tell people that they can apply for asylum in our consulate in Tijuana,” Vaughan said in April. “We have a branch of the U.S. embassy there and they could wait there while their claim is adjudicated. We can take a couple of weeks to hear their case from our consulate in Tijuana, or Mexico City or anywhere else in the country of Mexico; save them a long journey.”
