I need to make a PSA or something.
The Spanish traces that seem to appear over SoCal near Oxnard, CA are not really there.
The Spanish AF apparently uses a different encoding scheme for their ADSB transponder data.
As a result, ADSB interprets the data wrong, not displaying any callsign and interpretating the coordinates somewhere that it isn't.
Whenever you see Spanish planes somewhere they shouldn't be (expecially if they are sitting right on top of one another, impossibility), suspect this data encoding error.
Planefags have seen this many times and it means nothing.
I'm so tired of retyping this.
