BREAKING: GEORGIA STATE SENATOR AND GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE INDICTED ON FRAUD CHARGES

 

Georgia State Senator Michael Williams, a former Georgia governor candidate, has been indicted on fraud charges.

 

The indictment accused Williams of insurance fraud stemming from a report he made regarding stolen computer servers from his campaign office. He reportedly lied to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and made a false insurance claim on the servers.

 

His campaign manager has stated that the servers were used to mine for cryptocurrency, which was part of Williams’ business. The office was shared between his business and campaign.

 

Williams finished fifth in the Georgia GOP Governor primary this past year following a campaign that was mostly based around loyalty to President Trump and running various political stunts, including a “deportation bus.”

Apple pulls older iPhone models from stores in Germany amid patent row

 

Apple is to stop selling older iPhone models at its stores in Germany after losing two patent cases brought by a chip manufacturer, the company has announced.

 

A Munich court ruled that the smartphone maker and its subsidiaries breached a European patent held by Qualcomm.

 

In a statement, Apple said: "Qualcomm's campaign is a desperate attempt to distract from the real issues between our companies.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) – The U.S. military constructed a new base in the eastern countryside of the Deir Ezzor Governoratet this week, despite Donald Trump’s announcement that American troops would be withdrawing from Syria.

 

According to local reports from the Deir Ezzor province, the U.S. military constructed a new base west of the former Islamic State stronghold of Hajin.

 

The new military base was reportedly under construction before the U.S. President’s announcement that his nation’s troops would be returning home from Syria.

 

Hajin was captured by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) last week following a fierce battle with the Islamic State terrorists inside the town.

UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) - Members of the organization White Helmets were engaged in the forced removal of human organs as well as theft and corruption in Syria, according to evidence presented at the United Nations by Foundation for the Study of Democracy Director Maxim Grigoriev on Thursday.

 

"People evacuated by the White Helmets often did not come back alive," Grigoriev said quoting a witness who lives in an area where the White Helmets operated. "For example, a person receives a minor injury, is rescued, evacuated and then brought back with their stomach cut open and with their internal organs missing."

 

Grigoriev noted that according to multiple witnesses, including members of the White Helmets, the organization was also involved in looting wounded individuals in Syria, especially women, as well as plundering stores and damaged buildings.
