Cows did not traditionally eat corn, they ate grass. Corn is not an appropriate feed for them, it's too high in omega-6s, which predisposes their bodies to inflammatory processes and then disease, with antibiotics being given to them as a matter of course, which exposes people to the antibiotics. Traditionally, cows were pastured to eat grass in warm weather, and given hay in the winter.
