I couldn't reply last bread, and wanted to thank all the anons who took time to share their thoughts.
I understand that these are essential elements of Christianity:
Realizing that there are consequences for taking full responsibility for deciding what is good and what is evil.
Keeping a humble heart, remaining willing to learn, and dedicating time to understanding.
I would add (and this, for me, may be the keystone), applying the golden rule of reciprocity (Matthew 7:12).
It all makes sense and it makes this world a better place.
